The Annual Memorial Day 5k Road Race (walkers are welcome!)  is presented and proudly sponsored by The Veteran’s Association of Hampshire County, also known as the WWII Club.

Last year, in 2011, the 1st Memorial Day 5k Road Race was held in the beautiful village of Florence Massachusetts, where Runners of all ages came out to participate, and ran together through the center of town.

Please help us make this year even more successful than the last by participating or sponsoring!

Proceeds

The proceeds from this year’s race will benefit a cookout, which will take place at the V.A. Medical Center in Leeds, MA. Everyone is invited to attend after the race.

Prizes

Yes, there will be prizes! Trophies will be presented to the top runners, and all other competitors will be eligible to win gift certificates, donated by local businesses sponsoring the race, in a raffle.

Running In The Race

Participating is easy. All you have to do is register! Runners may register in any one of the following ways: Register online from our registration page right now, download and fill out the PDF on our registration page and bring it with you on race day, or simply arrive early at the race for registration. You can also register in person at the WWII Club at 50 Conz st. Northampton, MA 01060.

Please note that there is a $20 registration fee!
